Te Runanga a Iwi o Te Oranga Ake (TOA) was incorporated on the 13 October 2008 in Auckland. We are an Urban Maori Authority with a nationwide
membership, created to empower and catapult Maori, Pacific and all New
Zealanders into their inherent potential.
Our
vision is to be a standout provider of exemplary services across the fields of social
services, health, education, justice, housing and finance, commencing in
Auckland and extending nationwide.
Our
mission is to empower individuals and their whanau to fulfill their inherent
potential through services that are holistic in nature, results-driven, and
characterized by excellence, professionalism, compassion and hope.
Our aim is to work together with key
stakeholders in the community at a local and national level through existing
channels, frameworks and programs.
Our team is made up of
individuals who have been delivering services across all of our targeted fields
of social services, health, education, justice, housing and finance in Tamaki
Makaurau, Aotearoa NZ and Australia, for
the past 10 years.
